MARGIDAVID CANCELLATION POLICY

 

We understand schedules can change at the last minute and we appreciate as much notice as possible if you find you're unable to make a scheduled appointment.Changes may be made either on our website or by calling the salon, providing the change is not within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

 

CANCELLATIONS: We require a 48 hour notice of cancellation, in advance, from the time of the appointment. Any cancellation within these guidelines will be refunded the full deposit, Any cancellation within the 48 hour window will forfeit the deposit.

 

LATE CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOWS: Cancellations within 48 hours are to be expected, however highly discouraged . Not only do these last minute cancellations cause financial burden for the stylist, but they take away the ability to rebook the appointment with another client. Hairdressers at MARGIDAVID work on commision. Cancellations within the 48 hours provides an opportunity for other clients to book. "NO SHOWS" are scheduled appointments that haven't been canceled. The industry standards recognize these are very disrespectful to the stylist, the existing clients and the salon, and undermine the integrity of good faith. We understand emergencies arise and things just happen. We have this policy in place to discourage non-emergency, last minute cancellations, so everyone can have the best time spot for their best hair.


 

DEPOSITS: A deposit for clients booking for an appointment longer than 1 hour will be taken at the time the appointment is scheduled. Any appointment for 1-1/2 hours+ will require a $50 deposit to hold the appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the service, when the service has been completed. Appointments canceled or changed outside of the 48 hour window will receive a full refund. 

 

 Late cancellations (considered within a 48 hour window of the scheduled appointment), or No Show appointments, will forfeit the full amount of the deposit.

 

Future appointments for repeat "NO SHOWS" (or consistent late cancellations) will require a $100 deposit upon booking that will be applied to completed services.

 

New clients booking an appointment online must receive a confirmation to secure the appointment. A call by one of our Customer service reps will confirm the appointment, apply the deposit with a credit card provided, and answer any questions.
